1. About Us

EIAScreen is operated by Infonova Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Leicester, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@infonovasolutions.com

2. The Service

EIAScreen provides automated environmental constraint screening by querying live government GIS databases. The service produces an indicative risk score and optional professional PDF reports.

EIAScreen does not provide legal, planning, or environmental consultancy advice. Results are for informational purposes only and do not replace a formal Screening Opinion under Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017.

3. Free Tier and Paid Reports

Your first screening is free and includes the on-screen risk score, constraint breakdown, and regulatory references. Screenings and PDF reports are provided free of charge. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Once a PDF report has been generated and downloaded, the service has been fully delivered. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you believe the report contains material errors in the data queried. Contact us at hello@infonovasolutions.com if a report contains an error in the data queried.

5. Accuracy and Limitations

We query government datasets in real-time. Data accuracy depends on the source agencies (Natural England, Environment Agency, Historic England, planning.data.gov.uk). We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of third-party data. Datasets may be temporarily unavailable, outdated, or incomplete.

The risk score is algorithmically generated and does not account for site-specific factors that require professional ecological, archaeological, or hydrological assessment.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on EIAScreen are owned by Infonova Solutions Ltd. Government data queried through our service is subject to the respective agency open data licences (Open Government Licence v3.0).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infonova Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of EIAScreen, including but not limited to planning application refusals, project delays, or financial losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific report in question.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
